Night Look
As all my other looks so far have been very natural, although i used a black eye, they haven't been very full on. Which is greta because thats what my brand represents. For this look though, i want to show that thats not what they are all about. I want to add colour because bobbi have a really great range of colour, and although for a lot of people it would be the place they would go to buy such products as they are so well known for there nudes, bronzes and shimmer bricks, i feel Bobbi would advertise a night look this way to try and promote her other great products.
One of the trends in 2014 was a bright bold eye, Georgio armani and marc jacobs used this in their shows.
I think i want to use more of a colour for this look, rather than a black or brown to make a statement. Also i want a bold lip and eye, to really dramatise the look.
i found these images on Bobbis instagram and i feel it fits in perfectly with what i want here.
It shows one women with a blue eye and the other with a red lip. I want to combine the too. Although I'm going to use green for the eye not blue as i feel it will go better together.
Model- For these images I'm going to be using a model, that Bobbi wouldn't normally use, but like my day look, I'm using a real women. I have chosen to use it for this look to as i believe day and night are the things women would look for inspiration for the most. So to look and see a women that doesn't look your typical model and looks real and genuine would inspire and encourage the everyday women a lot more. She also had a septum piercing which i have chosen to keep in for the look as i don't want to change her personal appearance i want to use it and work with it.
Face chart:
For the hair in this look, i have had to base around my model as her hair is very unusual and particular. Im having the hair down, but with a wave in the bottom so you can see all the colour. She also has a fringe which I'm leaving down.

Final Images:
After completing this look, i was pleased with how they images turned out. Im glad i stuck with Sammi as my model because i think the make up design and hair look really worked for her. Im glad i didn't go to dark for the eye as i think that would have changed the look. Even though its not one of Bobbis traditional looks i think it still in keeps with the brand because the base is still natural and its advertising her other products.

Timed Assesment
For my timed assessment images, i want to keep it very simple and very Bobbi. I want to take everything she's known for and put it into this look. Ive seen images of Kate Upton the face of Bobbi and she has her hair very curled and wavy and thats where I've drew inspiration from for this look.

Kat Colour Theory
Colour Theory Face Charts:
For this analougus face chart i choose to use shades of pinks into purple slightly, instead of using three colours that are next to each other i chose to use just different shades.
In this face chart i chose to use blue and orange as they are complimentary colours. A subtle blue eye with a bold orange lip.
Here are some other face charts of colour theory work.
Today we were asked to copy a black and white image that Kat presented us. We had to pick what complementary colours we wanted to use and copy the black and white image.
A complimentary colour design i did previously.
