Bridal and fashion week shows

Bobbi Brown has taken part in a bridal fashion week show. They did make up for Carolina Herrara 2015 bridal range, Oscar De La Renta and Reem Acra.
The make up looks were all subtle and romantic. With pink flushed cheeks, nude lips and a subtle eye, its everything Bobbis about.
'The Oscar bride looked how every bride should on her wedding day – herself but prettier.'
This is exactly what Bobbi Browns mission statement is, she wants to enhance what you already have not change you.
Some images from the show.

Kat Contour & Highlight

Today we were creating a dewy base learnt from last week with a contour and highlight. I feel my results were good. To improve i would add more a highlight as i feel in the front on image this gets quite lost.

Social Media

Bobbi brown has an Instagram account which i started following. They post things about jobs that they've done, products, new products, lifestyle etc. So its good to keep on track with whats new any upcoming events etc. Kate Upton is featured quite a lot also, with images from past and future advertisements she is doing with the brand.
They also have a twitter account with 380 followers. Where they post more frequently on advertising products mainly and also beauty tips, lifestyle advice and things about there pretty powerful camp gain. Which is a really good idea cause it catches peoples attention and makes them want the product even when they are on twitter. They also tweet sometimes with a competition, which gets people sharing and retweeting, and more people know about the brand because a chance to win something for free really draws people in. Especially  products that could be classed as quite expensive.

Two screenshots i have taken from there twitter which demonstrates the self promotion and advertisement of the brand.

Kat Dewy Base

Today we were creating a dewy base. I used a foundation mixed with primer. I feel looking back now i could have added more primer to make it more dewy as it still looks slightly matte. The second image is my second attempt where i did this, which is slightly better.

Celebrity Collaborations

Bobbi Brown has only ever had to celebrity to represent them and become the face of Bobbi Brown.
The first was Katie Holmes, in 2012. She was the face until 2014 when she was replaced with Kate Upton. Her first collaboration with Bobbi was a surf and sand collection which was inspired by Bobbis favourite holiday destinations. Kate even stated that with Bobbi, its not just about make up, its about you as a person and make up just enhancing that. Which is what the brand is all about, enhancing your natural beauty and personality, which Bobbi thinks Kate uptown will be a great role model for girls and women and she speak about confidence and self esteem which is important to the brand. Upton still remains the face of Bobbi Brown and has gone on to do many more collaborations with products and you can shop her complete look online.

Bobbi Brown offers a range of different products but is known for her natural and nudes. She doesn't just offer make up but a range of skincare, from cleaners, toners and moisturisers to beach body lotions and eye care. So she has a wide range of different products for sale. Her website also offers a 'Talk to an artist now' chat. Where you can chat with a Bobbi Brown professional artist for any advice  or tips you need. She also has a wide range of tutorials on line and make up lesson, for people who want to teach themselves.

Best Sellers
Along the way Bobbi Brown has obviously produced some best selling products which remain peoples favourites
Bobbi's Lip gloss, ranging from nudes to pinks are one of true bestsellers that Bobbi fans can't seem to live without.

Shimmer bricks and blushers remain the top sellers, beauty bloggers have blogged about these a lot and owning both myself i understand why they are bestsellers. It won best highlighter at company beauty awards 2013 and many more.

Bobbi brown also knows how important skincare is and her moisturisers, exfoliates and eye cream are all top rated and customer favourites.

The prices of Bobbi Browns range, vary from 34 for a concealer, 30-40 for foundation, to £23 for a single eyeshadow, £24 for a brush or even £30 for a palette. They also do pro lip palettes which goes all the way up to £200. Some might say that there products are priced quite high. But for any high end make up brand these are the sorts of prices you are looking at. They don't vary much from Mac or Nars two other leading make up brands. The quality and results of the make up have always been rated very high, making the quite steep prices worth it in the long run. If you're a make up artist too, its worth investing in things such like the pro lip palette as even though its £200 to start with it over 54 different shades.

London trip

On the London trip i managed to go into a Bobbi Brown store. You can see from these images that everything is very slick and professional looking. I loved the screen with the images of Upton on. Everything that was on display was very clean and modern. The waiting area had a different vibe, with the quirky modern accessories in it and chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. I feel it appeals to all ages and ranges and draws you in. I got a chance to test loads of the products and ended up purchasing the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick which is one of their mod popular items.
