Mac was founded by Frank Toshkent and Frank Angleo in 1984. The products were originally specifically designed for professional make up artist, but are now sold worldwide to consumers.

Mac provides a wide range of make up products, and also sells brushes, nail polish, fragrances and skin care products.

Mac frequently collaborate with different celebrities and they will bring out a range with them, for example, rihanna, sharron and Kelly osbourne, lorde, maleficeint. They have an extremely large team of make up artist working for them and do

 I have chosen this picture of the Maleficent advertisement cause i think it gives a different vibe and feel to what they are normally portraying. I feel like the products in keeps with the fact that maleficent is made by disney and are slightly more childish than the normal look of their products. I feel with this collaboration and advertisement they are trying to appeal to a younger audience.

This second image i have chosen is an advertisement for the the tropical taboo collection. I really like this image, i feel it goes with the name of the collection, the lighting and styling also fits in with this. This is a lot more adult.
